Surface Pressure Equipment

Trinity Surface Pressure equipment is available for all well environments including H2S Harsh.

Check Valve Union

The Trinity Check Valve Union is designed to seal off well pressure in the event of the wireline parting from the toolstring.

Chemical Injection Sub

The Trinity Chemical Injection Sub is designed to allow the injection of either a de-icing agent (i.e. Methanol or Glycol) or a corrosion inhibitor. It is mounted just below the Stuffing Box or Grease Injection Head.

It has replaceable felt packings which are kept constantly wet by chemical injection and therefore act as wipers to the wireline passing through it.

The Chemical Injection Sub is available for 5,000 psi and 10,000 psi Working Pressure in either Standard or H2S Service.

Ductility Tester (Wireline)

The Trinity Wireline Ductility Tester provides a wireline operator the facility to test, and hence evaluate the quality of the wireline throughout its working life. In-service failure of wireline, due to impairment of the wire ductility may in many instances, be pre-empted by adopting such a testing programme. Torsion testing is particularly useful when operating API 9A wireline in conditions where minute quantities (a few ppm) of H2S may be present, since line failures can occur within as little as 12 hours exposure. We strongly recommend all wireline be tested prior to commencement of a down-well operations preventing one oil company form inheriting prior oil companies problems.

Grease Injection Head

The Trinity Grease Injection Head is designed to perform a sealing action on braided cable.

The grease is pumped under pressure into the flow tubes and combined with the hydraulic packing head forms a seal against well pressure. This process completely seals and lubricates the wire.

A Blow Out Check Valve is situated in the lower section of the Body and in the event of wire failure the valve will automatically seal off the well pressure to the surface.

The Trinity Grease Injection Head can be supplied for either Standard Service or H2S Service with a working pressure rating up to 10,000 psi.

The Flow Tubes are supplied to suit wireline dimensions as required.

Hay Pulley

The Trinity Hay Pulley has been designed for slick and braided line surface rig up.  It is used to maintain the correct line position prior to running through the Stuffing box or Grease injection head.

Hay Pulley (Lightweight)

The Trinity Hay Pulley has been designed for slick and braided line surface rig up.  It is used to maintain the correct line position prior to running through the Stuffing box or Grease injection head.

Lifting Cap

The Trinity Integral Lifting Cap can be used to install pressure control equipment on the well head.

Lubricator

The Trinity Lubricator is used to contain well pressure above the wellhead thereby allowing the wireline toolstring to be raised above the wellhead prior to and after wireline operations and therefore allows the wellhead valve to be opened and closed allowing entry and exit from the well.

All Trinity Lubricators comply with API 6A PSL3, SI 1996/913 and NACE MR-01-75 for Sour (H2S) Services and are supplied with certification.

Lubricator Lifting Clamp

The Trinity Lubricator Lifting Clamp comprises of two sections, which are placed either side of the lubricator tube and fastened together using bolts. Lifting clamps are available in 2 styles (with or without Spreader Plate). The use of a Spreader Plate is an advantage when the operator needs to lift a long lubricator section as the plate allows the master link pick-up point to be clear of the lubricator.

Lubricator Trolly

The Trinity Lubricator Trolly is used to help transport Lubricators around the work site.

Multi-Tool Catcher (Hydraulic)

The Trinity Multicatch Tool Catcher is designed to engage a range of sizes of Rope Socket fishneck. It is able to latch different size fishnecks without the need to change any internal components. In the event of a toolstring colliding with the Stuffing Box and stripping the wire from the Rope Socket, the Multicatch Tool catcher will prevent the toolstring from falling downhole. The toolstring can only be released hydraulically with a hand pump.

The Multicatch Tool Catcher can be supplied with a Ball Check Valve and Upper Connection to allow the Grease Injection Head to be screwed directly above

Primary Seal Integrity Test Sub

When performing Wireline operations it is often necessary to make adjustments to the toolstring. To gain access, the lubricator is separated from the Wireline Valve by breaking out a Quick Union. Before the toolstring can be re-deployed, it is good practice to test the integrity of the Quick Union, requiring the entire lubricator to be filled with test fluid.

By fitting the Trinity Primary Seal Integrity Test Sub at the lower most point in the lubricator stack, pressurisation of the small volume between the double O-Ring seals is all that is required to confirm the integrity of the Quick Union connection. This not only cuts down on expensive test fluids but also saves time in pumping large volumes.

The Trinity Primary Seal Integrity Test Sub uses standard Quick Union thread and seal sizes, but utilises a deeper seal bore to accommodate the second O-Ring. Because the seal bore is deeper than normal, the Primary Integrity Seal Test Sub is capable of accepting a standard Quick Union pin and collar.

All gauges and fittings are manufactured from stainless steel. The Trinity Primary Seal Integrity Test Sub is intended for in-field testing purposes and therefore the pressure should not exceed the lubricators working pressure.

All Trinity Primary Seal Integrity Subs comply with API 6A PSL3, SI 1996/913 and NACE MR-01-75 for Sour (H2S) Services and are supplied with certification.

Quick Union Crossover

The Trinity Quick Union Crossovers are essential for the connection of incompatible

components required for well services operations. Crossovers can be ‘tailor made’ to suit any

combination of connections required and can also be combined to include injection and bleed off facilities.

Quick Union Test Cap

The Trinity Test Cap is used to aid with the testing of Pressure control Equipment. Available in all Quick Union sizes.

Rapid Connector

The Trinity Rapid Connector is used in place of Quick Union/Threaded connections. It greatly reduces any manual handling issues and its lightweight quicklock sytem significantly reduces connection/disconnection times.

Stuffing Box (Hydraulic)

The Trinity Hydraulic Stuffing Box – is used when it is necessary to perform wireline work under Well pressure. The sheave assembly allows the line to be guided in its travel from the wireline unit into and through the stuffing box body. The wireline passes through the Packing in the stuffing box body, the packing nut is then hydraulically activated sufficiently to minimise leakage around the wireline. A ball check valve is situated in the lower section of the body and in the event of wire failure the ball check valve will automatically seal off the well pressure to the surface.

Stuffing Box (Manual)

The Trinity Hydraulic Stuffing Box – is used when it is necessary to perform wireline work under Well pressure. The sheave assembly allows the line to be guided in its travel from the wireline unit into and through the stuffing box body. The wireline passes through the Packing in the stuffing box body, the packing nut is then manually activated sufficiently to minimise leakage around the wireline. A ball check valve is situated in the lower section of the body and in the event of wire failure the ball check valve will automatically seal off the well pressure to the surface.

Stuffing Box (Quick Load)

The Trinity Quick Load Stuffing Box – is used when it is necessary to perform wireline work under Well pressure. The Quick Load system allows for a rapid redress of the tool without the need for removal of the sheave assembly.

Tool Catcher (Hydraulic)

The Trinity Tool Trap is designed to retain the toolstring should the wire part from the rope socket when pulling back into the lubricator.

A slotted flapper allows passage of the wire and allows the toolstring to be raised through the Tool Trap. A return spring closes the flapper behind the toolstring and prevents it from re-entering the well.

A bidirectional hydraulic actuator allows the flapper to be opened and closed remotely. Alternatively, the flapper can be opened manually by use of the Indicator Arm which also serves as indication of tool position.

Integral design simplifies redress and minimises risk of leaks

Wellhead Flange Adaptor

The Trinity Flange Adaptor is used to provide a means of attaching the Wireline Lubricator/Blow-Out Preventer Assembly to the production wellhead during wireline operations.

The bore through the Flange Adaptor should be compatible with the wellhead to allow unrestricted passage of the wireline work string into production tubing.

The Flange Adaptor can be ‘tailor made’ to suit any combination of connections required.

Wireline Valve Test Rod

The Trinity Wireline Valve Test Rod is used to aid with testing. The Test Rod replaces the Wireline to help replicate operational conditions.
